Application Guidelines
Grants will be considered for Projects:
- Related to your building's EXCELS Plus Plan
- For special needs students
- For social skills development
- For creative instructional units
- For collaborative efforts
- For selective software
Grants will NOT be considered for:
- Teacher stipends
- Computer hardware
- Video cameras
- Food preparation activities
- T-shirts
- Large equipment items
- Out of state trips
All grant applications MUST be approved by the building principal.
Who May Apply: Omaha Public Schools teachers and administrative staff.
Deadline: Submitted on-line by 4 p.m., on December 1, 2011

Notification: The Omaha Schools Foundation will contact you with a letter in early February, 2012. If you have been awarded the grant, you will work with the Omaha Public Schools District's grants office to access your funds. Do not send receipts for reimbursement to the Omaha Schools Foundation.
Final Report is due to the Omaha Schools Foundation upon completion of the grant award. Please send a report that includes a detailed analysis of how the grant dollars were used, number of children served, outcomes and any other pertinent information. Report need not be longer than 1 typed page.
