The Omaha Schools Foundation administers many different scholarships for graduating seniors of the Omaha Public Schools.
Donors may establish scholarship funds in honor or in memory of loved ones and may determine criteria which best fits their wishes.
Among the scholarships awarded each year are two highly regarded opportunities:
The Superintendent’s Future Educator Scholarship
The Future Educator Scholarship is awarded to one student from each high school who will be studying education. Students must also demonstrate strong character, community involvement and a strong grade point average.
Superintendent’s Super 13 Scholarship
The Super 13 Scholarship is awarded to one student from each high school who has attended the Omaha Public Schools consecutively from kindergarten through 12th grade. Students must demonstrate strong character, community involvement and a strong grade point average.
Seniors from each Omaha Public Schools high school are nominated each year and chosen by a select committee of professionals to receive these honors.
